Kofi Annan, Bob Geldof and Nigeria's President Obasanjo are to sit on a panel set up to track aid promises made to Africa, Tony Blair is to announce. The UN secretary general will chair the panel, being set up a year after G8 pledges and a popular campaign pushed Africa up the international agenda. BEIJING, -- Gold prices may challenge record highs in the next three years as higher inflation prompts investors to buy the precious metal as a hedge, according to Citigroup Inc, the world's biggest financial services company. "We have been positive on gold for three years and expect it to ratchet much, much higher over time," Citigroup analyst John Hill said in a report. India on Thursday offered to empower Africa by promoting tele-education in the continent through a landmark fiber-optic network that seeks to bridge the digital divide between 53 countries of the African Union. Over the past few years, NASA has been working on a number of creative and important projects, particularly in the area of new spacecraft construction and design. This website was created to serve as a place the public can learn about Project Constellation, which is the long-term project that will once again take humans back to the moon for a variety of scientific endeavors.

From the homepage, visitors can view several Flash-enabled features that demonstrate some of the newly proposed spaceships and also how such vessels will return from the moon. Along with these related multimedia features, visitors can view information on what each of NASA ten field centers is doing as part of this ambitious effort. The Center for Immigration Studies laments that "Mexican authorities seldom if ever talk about their failure to uplift the poor who constitute approximately half of Mexico's 107.5 million people, particularly when their nation is contiguous to the world's largest market and abounds in oil, natural gas, gold, silver, beaches, seafood, water, historic treasures, museums, industrial centers, and wonderful people." 10. Real Estate: Illegal property deals in China
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Beijing - China intends to use a crackdown on illegal property deals to cool excessive investment in the booming economy and calm rage over land grabs and soaring property prices, the government has indicated.

11. Travel: New Ambassador Hotel for Ghana
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =


President John Agyekum Kufuor on yesterday laid the foundation stone for construction works to begin on the multi-million dollar ultra-modern five-star New Ambassador Hotel in Accra. Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Alsaud, is investing about US$ 100 million in the project.
